Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao adopted a new strategy to counter his arch-rival and Congress leader A Revanth Reddy.
Instead of neglecting the Kodangal Assembly constituency from where Revanth Reddy elected MLA, KCR accorded top priority to the constituency in the development.
Apparently, to attract people towards his TRS, KCR sanctioned several developmental programmes to the Revanth constituency at one go. The works included Fire service station in Kodangal, government Junior Colleges in Daulatabad and Bomraspet Mandal headquarters.
Leaders said KCR paid special attention on Kodangal assembly segment as he wanted to weaken Revanth politically in his own Assembly Constituency. KCR already poached Revanth followers and fave them posts in the government recently.
